该剧讲述民国时期的一间叫做“人来客往”的小酒馆中发生的山城轶事，在街坊邻居的嬉笑怒骂间，上演着一幕幕山城民国“浮世绘”。。时间点为TV版两年后的暑假。海人成为了高中三年生，其他人亦踏出了自己的道路。有天，去了海人家中游玩的哲郎发现了一卷磁带，而当中记录的正是两年前的暑假、拍摄电影前所拍摄的试拍。。A pair of misfit oddballs strike a deal too big to pass up — and maybe too good to be true — as they set out on a road trip and redemption story in this dark comedy neo-noir.。
