Plebs follows three desperate young men from the suburbs...。魔教教主任我行（李立群 饰）无故失踪，左护法曲洋被指为凶手，曲洋绑架了任我行的女儿任盈盈（袁咏仪 饰），消去了任盈盈的记忆，以父女相称，两人隐姓埋名，过着平静闲散的日子。东方不败接替任我行成为了新一任的教主，并且得知了曲洋的下落，他决定夺回任盈盈。 华山派大弟子令狐冲（任贤齐 饰）前往祝贺衡山派掌门刘正风退位，然当日，左冷禅却污蔑刘正风同曲洋有着不可告人的秘密。最终，刘正风和曲洋死在了左冷禅的追兵手下。福威镖局总镖头林震南死前将失传已久的辟邪剑谱的下落告知令狐冲，使得令狐冲在江湖中处于四面楚歌的不利地位。之后，令狐冲意外习得神功，却因此遭到了师傅岳不群（岳跃利 饰）的厌恶。。
