In a life and death situation, mommy pheasant sacrifices herself to save the 9 chicks.。故事描述杰西卡(德汪达·怀斯 DeWanda Wise 饰)带着家人回到老家时，发现了她小时候的熊布偶「巧芯」，而她的继女爱丽丝(派珀·布劳恩 Pyper Braun 饰)很快就跟这个布偶变得形影不离，然而，随着爱丽丝跟巧芯玩的游戏内容越来越疯狂，杰西卡才意识到它可能不是单纯的熊布偶……。Volpe是意大利语，对应英文是fox意为狐狸，这是女主的姓氏，剧中fox和Volpe都有人喊。Signora是意大利语女士的意思，所以剧名也可以翻译为《狐狸女士》。
