After 48 Hours, Mur...。故事发生在青山绿水环绕的杏山村，村民老贲（绰号：老笨）为了饮食健康的理念，不顾妻子和亲朋好友的劝阻，一意孤行地开始了自己的绿色“笨鱼养殖”。由于绿色养殖周期长，投资大见效慢，老笨出现了严重的资金链断裂。而另一村民二鬼却靠着精明的头脑把自己的养鱼事业经营的风生水起。正当老笨为买鱼饲料四处求借时，小女儿三妮儿不堪同学高大宝多次侮辱父亲，在鬼斗的帮助下，失手将其打成脑震荡后因害怕而离家出走。面对孩子的失踪，没钱买鱼饲料，赔偿昂贵的医药费，鱼塘经营的窘困，妻子的不解，村民的嘲讽，心爱的鱼塘即将失去，老笨能否走出他人生的阴霾？。
