江南某城，武功高强，游戏人生的王笑天看到城内到处是从东北拥来的难民。在酒场上，王不愤以少胜多，出手帮助某帮会头领唐振海。几经波折，唐决定把帮会交给王带领，让他改做生意，并把女儿许配给他。不久，日本人来了，杀人放火，无恶不作。王自己几次遭日本人袭击，手下也遭日本人杀害，妻子也因日本人的缘故不幸死去。终于，王与公司的众兄弟投入到抗日洪流中。他和众兄弟杀死日军军官三坂后，带着死难兄弟的家小向北方走去。。Ok, folks, this is my last Ishii upload. Totsugeki! Hakata gurentai is his first feature and last 8mm film. Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。
