White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。十五岁少女伊琳清纯多才，崇拜老师李老师。在少年宫演出时，她邂逅了少年归雷，两人情投意合却因高傲未表心意。最终归雷勇敢示爱，两人相爱却矛盾重重。演出结束后，伊琳因高考压力逃避归雷，导致归雷受伤。为了梦想，伊琳放弃一切，但与归雷错过。多年后，归雷成为芭蕾舞者，伊琳成为舞台剧演员，各自实现梦想。。设计师邵大维为国际服装节设计中老年服装，领导要求制作样装并真人试装。他遂与霞光中老年模特队达成合作，这支由五十岁以上、多为退休人员组成的中老年模特队，就此开启了活力四射、精彩纷呈的试装表演。。
