本片讲述了一名携带绝密文件的上尉登上B-17轰炸机与迎面而来的日本伏击以及全男性的机组人员作斗争的故事。。幸珍（月光）是一位女工。某日她偶遇一位叫拉维的男子，并与之一见钟情。而此时，拉维即将出国进修两年，于是两人约定两年之后的10月8日再次相见。两年的时间里，月光认识了一位叫做“林”的中国男生。林非常喜欢月光，于是展开了对月光的追求，但月光却始终不愿给林任何机会，因为她的爱从拉维出国那一刻起，就已变成永远的等待……。Mid-August in Paris (the title is a date: August 15) in a sunny, quiet apartment a young woman talks, thinks, reflects about herself, everyday life and little events in a long, uninterrupted monologue.
