该剧以东北农村一普通的农户“老万家”为舞台，分别讲述了发生在万家老少三代十几人身上的故事。其中《承包大喇叭》讲述三儿子喜奎承包村里的大喇叭，还请二嫂彩凤做播音员，传递农业信息，还搞些“二人转”宣传好人好事，批评坏人坏事，结果惹出许多麻烦……。Soft boys by day, kings by night: That’s how the young Bulgarian Roma are when they come to Vienna looking for freedom and a quick buck. They sell their bodies as if they’re all they have. The thing that warms them, so far from home, is the feeling of togetherness. But the nights are long and unpredictable.。
