电影讲述狮王、火山、Bill、淡定、老鼠五个出生入死的兄弟，在恩师曹sir的带领下，为了救济儿童而偷取特效药，却惨遭设局，陷入枪林弹雨的险境之中。片中，兄弟们抱着视死如归的豪情，展开一连串的追查与激战。他们明白，即使无法活着回来，也比一人活着痛快！。故事发生于六十年代末，何伟是南洋商人，本想在香港搞小生意，但因生活奢华，故很快便将钱花光，此时他认识了波哥，后者忠直又敦厚，可惜刚失了业，意志消沉。何伟见状便鼓励他重新振作，二人成为好朋友。何伟与波哥共同租住一房，大家各谋生计，却竟然同时邂逅家庭教师戴若兰。小萍暗恋波哥，见他对若兰百般殷勤，大为不满。若兰却对何伟钟情，但未能表白心意。何伟知道自己散漫的性格辜负了若兰，决心改过。此时若兰收到外地来信，知道弟弟病重，并藉此试探伟对她的诚意……。A 16 year old Carol is going through a period of major changes in her life.
