胖虎是一只流浪猫。因为贪吃，它被北漂青年李智捉住，被迫与心爱的小母猫木娜分离。于是，胖虎开始想尽办法逃跑！在这场猫与人的斗智斗勇中，他们逐渐从陌生到熟悉，成为亲密的伙伴，度过了难忘的一年。2012年的北京，在城市机器的铰链倾轧下，漂泊的年轻人难以掌控自己的命运，而流浪动物们的命运亦是如此，他们在各自的“囚笼”中挣扎、迷茫……寻找幸福的答案。。Dr. Braun is forbidden to practice medicine because he's a Jew living in Nazi occupied Czechoslovakia.
