记者林良把握了贩毒集团的犯罪证据，在准备交给香港警方的途中遭杀手暗算。临终前通知赶来救援的缉毒特警江岳证据已交给其女儿保管。江岳找到林良的女儿林梅取回了犯罪证据，为了林梅的平安，江岳把她带到自己的住处。但林梅决计亲身找到戕害父亲的凶手，于是留下手札只身前往年夜陆暗查。江岳随后也被香港警方派往广州调查与林良案件相关的人物陆永昌，与林梅萍水相逢。林梅把在广州夜总会做歌手时熟习的电子商人项师长教员引见给江岳，希望应用他普遍的人际关系找到一些线索。。影片讲述贝尔维斯扮演的比利出狱后本想过一些平静的生活，但母亲病重让他再度被卷入当地的毒贩活动中，而布鲁斯·邓恩扮演的毒贩头子则是他最棘手的对手。。London 1864.
