唐家岭，北京西北五环外的一个普通村庄，由于这里距离中关村、上地等企业密集区比较近、房租便宜，大量外地来京人员选择在此租住，这个村子由此变得着名起来。还由此诞生了一个名词“蚁族”。 本片讲述的就是几位蚁族的青春故事。冉冉和小杰是一对情侣，和他们的大学同学王旭一起租住在唐家岭。冉冉一直有一个做服装设计师的梦想，可是不得不到裁缝店打工养活自己；小杰心高气傲，一直找不到工作，依赖冉冉打工的收入生活；可是冉冉却不知道，小杰为了帮助她实现梦想做了很多……王旭适应不了保险行业，同时也为自己和村里的一个女人的关系烦恼，最后女人为了逃避他悄悄搬走，王旭也决定给自己“放一年假”，到一家老水瓶厂轻松打工一年，调整好状态后再回到社会拼搏……。After the pharmacy in her small town is robbed, a girl who still lives at home with her parents takes matters into her own hands to solve the crime, while at the same time trying to get over her ex-boyfriend and become more of an adult.。In their twenties, Iwan and Hwaran dream of becoming a rapper and a webtoon artist, respectively.
