以一副古老的唐卡地图贯穿全片，以人物说民俗，用民俗讲故事，从故事看风景的叙事风格，构成了一部真实、平实、自然而又神秘的西藏民俗宝典。这是首部用本土化的眼光、乡情、亲情介绍西藏的纪录片。。脑中的幻想角色来到真实世界，会发生怎样的故事？一名小女孩发现自己拥有奇异能力，竟然能够看到别人幻想出来的“友友”。而“友友”们也遭遇了生存难题：随着想象出他们的孩子们慢慢长大，“友友”们逐渐被人遗忘，需要新的孩子们救赎，一场全新的冒险也就此开启。。Akerman's Toute une nuit is a collection of vignettes depicting the fancies and dramatic moments of a number of people throughout one summer night.
