综合医院的药剂师，葵绿。即使不如医生受患者信赖、即使不如护士与患者亲近，今天的她也依然为了守护患者「理所当然的每一天」，在院内奔走！！。福青是精明的农民个体户，为展拳脚欲与洋人合资兴建酒店。他认为管理酒店没甚么了不起，带着儿子来福到香港取经，仅学得皮毛就回乡，来福却因堕情网而留在香港。福青的酒店开张时已是不伦不类，后来更因欠债而到香港任酒店侍应筹钱，认识了看不起他的经理玛莉。其后来福追求女孩不遂，福青又悟出不少道理，各自带不同经验回乡打江山……。"Alone" follows a writer seeking peace and solitude in the countryside in an attempt to recover from tragedy and finish her book. However, as the welcoming country house turns into a living hell, she soon realizes that her inner demons are not the worst of her problems.。
