阿强（徐少强饰）和阿辉（刘家辉饰）是一对自幼练习拳击的好朋友。长大后两人则走上不同的道路：阿辉勤奋用功，当上了警察；阿强在自由搏击大赛中杀死对手，终身禁赛，在此之后便进入一个国际杀手组织。 厌倦了血雨腥风、杀人如麻的生活，阿强决定金盆洗手，却遭到了老大楚先生（楚原饰）的暗算和追杀。逃亡途中，他被阿辉的妹妹解救，随后来到老朋友家养伤。在此期间，阿强和女孩逐渐产生感情，阿辉却偶然间得知了朋友真正的身份，他由此陷入深深的矛盾之中。另一方面，组织发现阿强的藏身之地，派出杀手尾随而至……。Maira lives happily with Aiden, a doll maker and toy company owner. But Vanya, their adopted daughter and Aiden's niece, is still dealing with the loss of her birth mother. After Vanya plays Charlie's Pencil to summon her late mother, strange things begin to happen.
