《摩斯探长前传》第三季确定于2016年1月在ITV播出。新季将以1967年为背景，剧情承接第二季结尾，依旧由Shaun Evans和Roger Allam联合主演，Russell Lewis担任编剧，摩斯探长系列小说作者Colin Dexter担任顾问。本季四集的标题分别为《旅程》、《桃源》、《狩猎》、《终曲》。。Atka Natas is a secret agent from the oppressive regime of Liquidatzia. He visits his estranged wife Vera, a chemist who is involved with a group of exiles trying to smuggle their compatriots out of Liquidatzia. Natas has a list of agents operating ...。我来也（朱子奇饰）入狱，被当地官府的杨大人所救。杨大人有一子，嗜赌，一次赌博过程中被赌场老板雷大人下套后中计，欠下巨额赌债。杨大人向来为官清廉，无以还债。得知杨大人窘境的我来也暗中筹集百两黄金匿名交给杨大人助其渡过此劫。在筹集黄金的过程中，我来也犯下杀人大祸被通缉。改过自新的杨子得知这个被通缉的人就是自家的恩人之后，决定要以自己的方式报答这份恩情……。
