2007年1月1日开始，香港实施室内全面禁烟，烟民都被迫从办公室走至后巷抽烟。自此，来自不同背景职业的抽烟族，在后巷开辟了一个打诨聊天、结交朋友的特殊场所，其中一对男女──张志明与余春娇，亦因抽烟而在肮脏又狭窄的后巷中邂逅，一段捉摸不定、暧昧难测的恋爱关系，由燃点香烟的瞬间中展开。。故事舞台为京都伏见。女主人公伏见稻荷，从童年时起就一直相信有神的存在，某天早上，她救了一只将要掉进河里的小狗。在经历了失恋之后，小狗再次出现在她面前。原来这只小狗是神灵的使者，为了报答她，神灵实现了她的一个愿望，结果……。Sam's cases involve a series of revenge killings by a former Auschwitz prisoner| the mysterious deaths of teenage girls killed 15 years apart in Norway| a suspicious suicide and a beautiful Nun in a convent by the sea - very different stories, all employing Sam's expertise to the maximum.。
