故事开始于充满了异国风情的荷兰，韩杰（李泉 饰）要从此处赶往巴塞罗那参加三天后在那里举行的重要会议，然而，就在这个节骨眼上，韩杰发现自己的行李和护照居然不知所踪。无奈之下，他决定租车自驾，就这样，韩杰与车上一位名叫席洋（李昕芸 饰）的中国女留学生相识了。 在这短暂又漫长的三天两夜里，韩杰和席洋之间发生了许多事情。因为巨大的工作压力，韩杰患上了失眠症，而席洋则一直陷在前男友自杀的阴暗情绪里无法自拔，时间一分一秒的过去，发现彼此都伤痕累累的韩杰和席洋都感到心中升腾的奇妙感情，但那不是爱情。在这段旅途结束之时，这对男女又该何去何从？。以上世纪八十年代为背景讲述当时人们的生活、梦想与爱情。。MST3K fodder.
